Organic Search Results vs Paid Search, Which One is Better?

What is Organic search?

Organic search is a method for entering one or a plurality of search items in a single data string into a search engine. Organic search results are listings on search engine results pages that appear because of their relevance to the search terms, as opposed to their being advertisements.

Most Businesses Rely on Ads

I’ve noticed that most businesses these days especially startups rely on ads to drive traffic quickly. Very few adopt an early SEO or organic reach strategy since it usually takes a long time and big effort to generate results. However, once you have a good search engine ranking and created a loyalty around your brand, it usually persist as long as your online presence is in a good state.

Facebook pages are no longer very effective unless you have huge following and paid ads are getting more expensive as a result of the huge competition. Google ads might be more efficient for certain cases but “you pay you show up, you don’t, you won’t”

In a study based on a sample of 1.4 billion searches, 94% clicked on natural results and 6% on paid results.

I’m not saying don’t invest in ads, they’re still a quick way to capture leads but there should be a strategy to build organic reach to your business, whether it’s SEO or others.
